Information we collect
This site is maintained by the owner of Pronounce Word Audio. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names, email addresses or payment details. The word you type is sent to our pronunciation service only to generate the audio you requested; it is not stored in a database or linked to you.
Cookies and analytics
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or social media scripts on this site.
Third-party services
Audio is generated using a text-to-speech service, and English dictionary information (phonetics, syllables and meanings) is requested from a free public dictionary API. Those providers receive the word being looked up and standard technical request information such as an IP address. Their own privacy terms apply to that processing.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs, such as request times and error records, to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not used to build profiles of visitors.
Children
The site is safe for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
